Nice to meet you, I'm Émilie (with my little Junette).
Like you, my life revolves around my fur babies. But if we're honest for two minutes: we adore our cats, but we hate their litter box.
The idea for Petora was born one Tuesday evening, after a long day at work. When I got home, the smell in the apartment was unbearable, and I realized that I was spending more time picking up messes than actually playing with my cat, Pixel.
I tried dozens of litter boxes, scented litters, air fresheners... Nothing really worked. That's when I thought to myself: "We're sending robots to Mars, why do I still have to use a plastic shovel in 2026?"
More than just a litter box, a health assistant.
I didn't just want to create a machine that "cleans." I wanted something that would reassure me. In discussions with my veterinarian, I learned that many feline diseases (urinary problems, kidney issues, diabetes) can be detected by changes in weight or frequency of litter box use.
That's where Petora 's connected technology became obvious. Integrating a precision scale and a mobile application wasn't a gimmick: it was a way to keep an eye on them, even when I'm not there.

Today, Petora is a small team of enthusiasts based in France, and we have a simple mission: To free owners so that they only keep the best of their cat.
